The story of Fifty-Five. Christmas 2013 when our entire staff, students, and a handful of volunteers lived on the streets of New York City for 55 hours (in the winter) for the 55,000 homeless in our city who have to do that every single day.
The Dream Center online campus really came about on accident.It has always been about using what is in our hands, but the reach has been global.

The Dream Center leadership program has grown every year since it began, but this year we have seen a larger jump in students, and are thrilled about the direction that we are taking the program.
This year, we were able to throw two huge backpack giveaway events, one in Chelsea and one in Harlem. Hundreds of kids were given backpacks before starting their school year.

This year was our best Turkey Giveaway yet! We moved the giveaway to our Chelsea adopt-a-block site and it was just an incredible time. When we ran out of Turkeys, our incredible volunteers rushed to the store and bought 150 more!
Our short term mission trips provide the opportunity for groups and individuals to be the reinforcement to a ministry that is already serving the community on a weekly basis.
